本作は、1956年に名門レーベル「Savoy」に残した初期代表作。お馴染みのサックス奏者ズートシムズが参加してることもあり人気の一枚。スタンダードの「Taking A Chance On Love」「Stella By Starlight」等収録。録音は伝説の名エンジニアのルディヴァンゲルダーが担当。
