本作は、ピーターバラカンの「僕がどうしても手放せない21世紀の愛聴盤」にも選出された2006年発表作品。トラディショナルな空気、どこまでも奥深いフィンガーピッキングは、ブルーズやフォーク、ゴスペルに根ざしながらも今の響きを聴かせる唯一無二の存在。その後、彼は2012年以来、手の病気のため活動を休止したままだ。1日も早い回復と復帰を願う。
