ディジーガレスピーに見い出されたというブラジルを代表するギタリスト、ボラセチ。本来なら、チャーリーバードやローリンドアルメイダ等と並ぶ評価を受けてもおかしくない過小評価のギタリストでもある。
本作は、「Paramount」に残した1971年作品。幼い頃から音楽教育を受け、ジャズをしっかりと学んだ技術を持つギタリスト。5thディメンションの「Workin' On A Groovy Thing」、ビートルズの「Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight」「With A Little Help From My Friends」、ローラニーロの「Wedding Bell Blues」、ジョニミッチェルの「Both Sides Now」等のカバー収録。
